What an amazing dining experience!? I was skeptical about the pricing, as it was my first time dining at Flemjng's. My experience was positive, and I was treated like a red carpet was rolled out for me. My dining experience began with a lemon drop martini, wedge salad. The main course was thr 20oz prime rib eye cooked medium, Fleming's potatoes and Brussel sprouts. It was a party for the senses. The presentation of the meal was eye catching and impeccably neat. My steak was beautifully bouncy to the touch and seasoned well; the Fleming's potatoes were al dente and creamy; the Brussels were crunchy and tender. A wonderful meal overall.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. My husband and I were celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary. First, the bread was delicious. We order the special two for Tuesday. We ordered the Tommy hawk steak medium well, roasted brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and salad. Well, everything must have been cooked on high heat. Our steak was burned to a crisp, brussels sprouts was charred so bad and swimming in grease. I wished I had taken pictures of the brussel sprouts, but I did take a picture of the steak. The manager did take the steak back and had another cooked. Unfortunately, bad food can ruin the mood.

It was a mixed bag experience. The waitress was a tad absent-minded and didn't bring our appetizer until the main course and the refills were hard to get. My steak was over-cooked and dry and the onion rings were ridiculously and unnecessarily big. The also fell apart. So overall just an average experience and one to be expected from a much less expensive chain not a place like Flemings.

I am bias because I have always had a great experience with Flemings, here in RVA as well as other cities such as Nashville and Charlotte. Excellent Thanksgiving affair and if I have any regrets, it's that I didn't get steak. All good though! Decent Thanksgiving. May not do this next year.
